Mission

The main goal of the Polish Culture NL Foundation is to promote Polish culture in the Netherlands, raising cultural bridges between two countries as well as promoting Polish language and supporting any artistic or cultural activities related to Poland.
Poland has had its place on the map of Europe, with a short interval, for over 1000 years. From its earliest days, the country maintained strong ties with other European nations. One notable connection was through the Hanseatic League, a powerful trade and cultural network during the Middle Ages. This alliance fostered robust commercial and cultural exchanges between Poland and the Netherlands, laying the foundation for a long history of collaboration.
Building on this rich history of connection, the Polish Culture NL Foundation is dedicated to showcasing and sharing the richness and diversity of Polish culture in the Netherlands. Through a variety of events, exhibitions, and artistic collaborations, the foundation presents Poland’s contributions to art, literature, music, and film to the public. By fostering cultural exchange and dialogue, the foundation creates opportunities for both the Dutch and Polish communities to connect, share, and appreciate the dynamic spirit of Polish creativity.
