10th of March – AICS | Language Diversity in Amsterdam – Growing up in a multilingual family
The International Mother Language Day is the inspiration for Foundation Polish Culture NL to organise an event encouraging the use of parental native languages and to discuss the advantages of multilingual upbringing and education. Parents in multilingual families often ask themselves: How can I help my child learn two or three languages? How many languages can children learn at the same time? What is the relationship between multilingualism and language delay? How can I use my mother tongue in the education of my child? These questions will be addressed by international experts. The insights of growing up in a multilingual environment will be shared during the panel discussion by young multilingual adults.
