Financial support is essential to realise our ideas. We secure funding through grant applications and donations. To facilitate this, we have obtained the status of an Institution for Public Benefit (ANBI). An ANBI status provides various benefits for donors and us as a foundation. An ANBI does not pay inheritance tax or gift tax for inheritances and gifts that the institution uses for the public interest. Additionally, donors of an ANBI may deduct their donations from income or corporation tax.
The Foundation does not employ any staff and is essentially run by volunteers. In that capacity, the members of the Management Board and Supervisory Board are unpaid, with a maximum reimbursement of costs incurred. On the basis of professional performance, the board can receive a modest remuneration within the framework of legislation, regulations and custom in the cultural sector.
